BTS' Jimin celebrated his birthday on October 13, 2025. The Kpop star had an emotional chat with ARMYs durig the Weverse LIVE session on his special day. During the LIVE, he spoke about his bandmates, his solo work and also showered love on his fans. During the live broadcast, a fan told Jimin, "I hope you have good people around you," the BTS' member replied, "Thank you. ARMY is my friend too. I think I've said this before too, but thank you for making an ordinary day that could have just passed by so special, thank you for congratulating me, I received all your hearts/feelings well & hope that mine was conveyed well."

Jimin also thanked ARMYs for all the love and support they had showered on him. The Kpop idol said, "Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday. It’s my birthday again, somehow at this time. It’s nothing special/a big deal that it’s my birthday, but I saw that you guys were wishing me a birthday so much, so I came here."

When asked if he had cake on his birthday, the Smeraldo Garden Marching Band hitmaker revealed that he does not like it and didn't have it. "No, I didn’t have cake. I don’t really like it," he said.

BTS' Jimin talks about BTS' V during LIVE

During his LIVE, Jimin revealed that BTS' V aka Kim Taehyung had lost weight to look "prettier" for ARMYs. "I saw Taehyung yesterday, since he was up for recording after me. He had lost weight alot, cause he used to be (bulky) like this. He was working hard on building his body after the military, but suddenly had gotten very skinny, so I asked him 'why'd you lose so much weight?'. And he replied that he chose to lose some cause he also wanted to look prettier for you guys," said Jimin.

Jimin also confirmed that he will return for Are You Sure Season 2 with BTS' Jungkook, shooting of which he wrapped up recently. "That's right, I did film a season 2 with Jungkook, when is it coming out? I'm not sure about that," he revealed.

During his birthday live stream on Weverse, Jimin treated fans to a glimpse of his room and flashed his signature shy smile, leaving fans wanting more. The live interaction broke records, amassing a staggering 113 million views. He also sang, got emotional, and shared personal anecdotes, including a notable conversation about fellow BTS member V's recent weight loss.
