Kpop girl group BLACKPINK is gearing up for a long-awaited comeback with an album this year. The band members Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa recently reunited for the ongoing Deadline World Tour, which kicked off in July in South Korea’s Goyang Stadium. Amid the reports about BLACKPINK's album, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk has now confirmed that the Kpop stars and producers are aiming to release a new EP by November. He said he is pushing to be released by the latest. This news has sparked excitement among Blinks.
BLACKPINK’s New Album Announcement
The announcement came in a ‘YG Announcement’ video on YouTube, Yang Hyun Suk addressed the high anticipation from fans about BLACKPINK's album. The video also provided updates on other label acts like TREASURE and BABYMONSTER.
He was heard saying, "A lot of people are curious about BLACKPINK’s album. I know that the BLACKPINK members and producers in charge of them are working very hard preparing the album."
Revealing the release plans of the album, he added, "I’m hoping for BLACKPINK’s album to be out by November at the latest. That’s what I’m pushing for. We’ll do our best to get BLACKPINK’s album out soon."
Soon after, fans shared their excitement and flooded social media.
One X user wrote, "I'M SCREAMING..I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER UGHHHHH-"
Another x user posted, "it all makes sense, doing the elle cover and interview, the paper magazine interview, the fact that she said she wants to release the album in 2025 and there’s only four months left… it’s coming in november."
Another post read, "It’s happening! BLACKPINK is coming back this November! Their first album since BORN PINK (2022) is officially in the works."

It's not confirmed whether it will be a full-length album or a mini album. However, if it's a full-length album, it will be BLACKPINK's first since their second album, Born Pink, which was released in 2022.
Meanwhile, Lisa, Jennie, Rose and Jisoo are currently busy with the ongoing Deadline World Tour. BLACKPINK's Deadline World Tour will cover 16 cities and consist of 31 shows. Their tour will conclude in Hong Kong with a power-packed performance. Recently, the group also made history as the first Kpop girl group to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium.
