Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 5: Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Kannada epic period mythological action drama movie has been performing extremely well at the ticket windows. On Monday, the movie earned half of what it earned on Sunday. However, it continued to be unstoppable, bringing big numbers on Day 5. Kantara Chapter 1 surpassed Rs 250 crore in just a few days of release. If the movie maintains the same pace, it is expected to reach Rs 300 crore in a few days. Here is how much the film collected on Monday.

Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 5

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 30.50 crore on Day 5. The net collection of Kantara Chapter 1 stands at Rs 255.75 crore. The film had 72.70 per cent Kannada occupancy on Monday, 36.52 per cent Telugu occupancy, 17.67 per cent Hindi occupancy, 43.13 per cent Tamil occupancy and 40.01 per cent Malayalam occupancy in theatres.

As per reports, the movie has been made on a budget of Rs 125 crore.

The movie explores the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. The film delves into the untamed wilderness and forgotten lore surrounding his past. Kantara Chapter 1 features Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Pramod Shetty and Achyuth Kumar in pivotal roles. The Kannada movie has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty. It has been backed by Vijay Kiragandur, Chaluve Gowda under the production banners of Hombale Films. Kantara Chapter 1 has a runtime of 148 minutes. The film is the sequel to the 2022 blockbuster movie, Kantara. The sequel then earned Rs 450 crore.
