Kartik Aaryan, the heartthrob of Bollywood, and Sreeleela, the gorgeous diva, are gearing up for the release of their upcoming movie. The duo will share the screen for the first time in Anurag Basu’s untitled movie, and fans can’t wait to see the magic of the fresh pairing onscreen. Their musical drama had already garnered a lot of attention from the netizens after receiving a couple of behind-the-scenes glimpses from Kartik Aaryan. Now, the movie has come into the spotlight once again as it has finally locked its release date.

Anurag Basu’s next love story has finalised its release date and can give a visual treat to the fans by the end of this year. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the much-talked-about movie is set to release on December 25, 2025. Interestingly, this release will lock horns with another movie that is releasing on the same day.

YRF’s spy universe is about to witness another addition with the release of the action thriller movie Alpha, starring Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol in the main roles. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the movie will feature Alia and Sharvari as female agents in their never-before-seen avatar. The movie is slated for this year’s Christmas release, clashing with Anurag Basu’s romantic drama.

Alpha is touted to be an espionage thriller with a blend of action sequences. The hype around the movie has reached its new height as the leading actress Sharvari Wagh recently welcomed Bobby Deol to the starcast and took to her Instagram stories to express her excitement for the same.

In one of her stories, she wrote, “Feeling toooo tooo tooooo overwhelmed & proud to be a part of this incredible cinematic universe! YRF Spy universe is jussssst. AAAAHHHHHH!!!!” In another story, she expressed, “Whoooaaaa @iambobbydeol sirrrr!!! Your screen presence is just. What an introduction to you & Alpha in War 2!!”

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which released last year with a stunning starcast including Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Sreeleela was recently seen in the Telugu action comedy Robinhood opposite actor Nithiin.
