The upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is already generating much hype among movie-lovers, especially because of its interesting storyline and strong cast. Starring Yash as the main character, the film was shot in Kannada and English language and announced as a major pan-India project. While early promotions mainly highlighted Yash, actress Kiara Advani has now opened up about her character. This recent revelation is generating much more hype among the audience.

Kiara recently talked about her role in the movie in an interview with Grazia. She stated that it is different from all the roles she had played so far.
She said, "Nadia is the most unique character arc I have ever read. The way Geetu (Mohandas), my director, has written this character and shaped this journey has really excited me. I think I was ready to take this up and see how I could bring this role to life for this director."
This statement from the actress shows that she played a complex role, and this performance of hers is surely a highlight.
First Song Tabaahi Builds Anticipation
The makers have recently released the first song, titled Tabaahi, featuring Yash and Kiara Advani. For now, only the audio version of the song is out, whereas the video version is still to be released. The song is composed by Vishal Mishra, with the song released in various languages, with the lyrics penned by Raj Shekhar (Hindi), Yogaraj Bhat (Kannada), Ramajogayya Sastry (Telugu), Vignesh Shivan (Tamil), and Rafeeq Ahammed (Malayalam).
Toxic Release Plans Delayed
The film’s release schedule has been revised due to ongoing issues in the Middle East, which have impacted cinema operations, especially in the Gulf region. Initially planned for March 19, the makers have postponed the release to ensure a smoother global rollout. Now, the film is set to be released on June 4, 2026.

Film's Strong Cast and Direction
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-written by Yash, the film features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria. Designed as a multi-language project, the film aims to reach a wide international audience.
