Film Lakadbaggha 2: The Monkey Business will premiere at the 79th Cannes Film Festival. The movie is considered to be the first-ever co-production between India and Indonesia. The movie is directed by Anshuman Jha. The main cast members include Sunny Pang, Dan Chupong, Adil Hussain, Sarah Jane Dias and Anshuman.

Jennifer Pangle of Webfilmland Productions in Germany stated that she had seen the first film of the Lakadbaggha series at the Stuttgart Film Festival in 2023, and the film won the Vision Award.
