Lokah Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 4: Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, competed with Mohanlal's Hridayapoorvam at the box office. Despite being in different genres, the two Malayalam movie have generated a lot of discussion in the region. Lokah Chapter 1 and Hridayapoorvam were released with reasonable anticipation and received favourable reviews from both critics and audience. It was expected that Hridayapoorvam would mint more moolah because of its star power, but the reality has been completely different. Yes, you read that right!

Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra began on the first day beneath Hridayapoorvam, but it immediately turned things around on the second day. The superhero continued to rise throughout the first weekend and nearly reached double digits on Sunday.

Lokah Chapter 1 is the title of the first chapter of Dulquer Salmaan's planned Wayfarer Cinematic Universe. Kalyani portrays Chandra, a young woman who moved to Bengaluru after living in Sweden for 20 years. Sunny (Naslen) and Venu (Chandu Salimkumar), two young boys who live across the street, are fascinated by her frequent appearances at night. The focus is on how Chandra's past is revealed to the two. The movie created a strong social media buzz for its movie's action sequences, visual effects, and superb storytelling.

Speaking of the Mohanlal's movie Hridayapoorvam, it brought in Rs 3.85 crores on Sunday, its highest ever total. It is rather surprising that the Malayalam movie did not maintain an upward graph over the weekend like its rival's. The movie, which opened to Rs 3.25 crore on Thursday, then made Rs 2.5 crore on Friday and Rs 3 crore on Saturday. After earning Rs 3.85 crore on Sunday, Hridayapoorvam has made a total of Rs 12.60 crore.
