Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection: Mahavatar Narsimha continues its phenomenal run at the box office. The animated film, which was produced by Hombale Films is still making money. The devotional animated epic had lost a lot of screens and shows due to the release of War 2 and Coolie a few weeks ago. The movie had very selected shows because more than 5000 screens were devoted to the Independence Day weekend releases. Mahavatar Narsimha enormous success demonstrates that content is king yet again! It made Rs 6.25+ (gross) crores over the sixth weekend. The domestic revenue jumped beyond Rs 291 crores on its sixth Monday, as per industry tracking site Sacnilk.

Mahavatar Narsimha now has a genuine chance of surpassing the Rs 300 crore gross mark at the domestic box office, with the Hindi version contributing about Rs 220 crores in revenue. Whether the animated epic meets this milestone or falls short will depend on how well the forthcoming weekend released like The Bengal Files, Baaghi 4 and others perform.

Mahavatar Narsimha made Rs 33 lakh on its 39th day, which is a significant decrease from Sunday's earnings of Rs 1.8 crore but still a decent amount for a movie this far along in its run. This brings the total amount collected to Rs 183.78 crore. With Param Sundari already working its magic on the screen, new releases like The Bengal Files and Baaghi 4 will slower animated movie's pace.

It will be a significant milestone for Indian animation as well as a personal victory for director Ashwin Kumar if Mahavatar Narsimha breaks the Rs 184 crore barrier. This will only demonstrate how animated movie can rival popular live-action productions at the box office if they are made with cultural relevance and artistic skill.
