Ram Gopal Varma, who was recently surrounded by a controversy related to the late actor Sridevi, has now clarified that his 'thunder thigh' remark was meant as praise and not objectification. The filmmaker also addressed his link-up rumours involving actress Urmila Matondkar. Ram Gopal Varma has worked with both Sridevi and Urmila Matondkar for an extensive period of time and gave the audience some of the most iconic movies of the time.

In an Interview with Zoom TV, Ram Gopal Varma cleared his 'thunder thigh' remark about late actress Sridevi and said, "What is wrong with objectification? That was an asset she had apart from her talent. I think calling it objectification is objectification. How does a person become unique? There will be reasons. You should not limit it to the fact that she’s a great actress or a great human being. It could be due to this also. Why avoid it? When did I say she’s not an actor? I was saying they also contributed to her fame.”
