Sweta Keswani, known for her work in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, shared her thoughts on Priyanka Chopra’s impact on South Asian representation in Hollywood. The actress said that she respects Priyanka’s work but claims that she hasn’t done enough to uplift other South Asian artists in the industry. She also compared the global star with Hollywood actress Mindy Kaling, who leaves no chance to give breaks to South Asian artists.

In an interview with India Today, Sweta Keswani said, “I think it's incredible what she's (Priyanka) accomplished, there's no two ways about that. But she's not Mindy Kaling. She's not helping other South Asians. She's only helping herself to be very honest. She's all about herself.”

While comparing Priyanka Chopra to Mindy Kaling, Sweta Keswani added, “What Mindy Kaling does is amazing because she's actually writing, producing and helping other South Asians to break through in the business, which is so hard as it is for women of colour.”

She also shared her own experience in Hollywood. Keswani added, “I feel that there are cliques just like everywhere. So certain people like certain people, will call certain people, and they'll be cliques. Unfortunately, I'm not in any South Asian cliques.”

Sweta Keswani is known for her work in Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand. On the other hand, the actress also featured in foreign projects like New Amsterdam, The Blacklist, Roar, As They Made Us and The Beanie Bubble.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra gained global fame with shows such as Quantico and movies like Baywatch, Isn't It Romantic, The Matrix Resurrections and Love Again. She is also known for her role in the popular series, Citadel. She was last seen in Heads of State alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.

Talking about her Indian project, Priyanka's upcoming movie is SS Rajamouli's GlobeTrotter opposite Mahesh Babu. Other than SS Rajamouli’s film, the actress will also be seen in the Hollywood movie, The Bluff. The movie also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison in pivotal roles. It has been directed by Frank E. Flowers and produced by AGBO; Cinestar Pictures; Big Indie Pictures; Purple Pebble Pictures.
