Abinay Kinger Death: Actor Abhinay, best remembered for his role in the 2002 Tamil movie 'Thulluvadho Ilamai', has passed away at the age of 44. His death was caused by complications related to liver disease. The actor had been struggling with his health and his public appeals for help had previously garnered significant support from both fans and colleagues in the industry. During his illness, members of the film fraternity offered significant support. His Thulluvadho Ilamai co-star, Dhanush, reportedly contributed Rs 5 lakh towards his medical treatment, while comedian KPY Bala donated Rs 1 lakh and helped raise awareness about his condition.

According to a report in India Today, the 44-year-old actor’s body is currently kept at his home in Chennai. Representatives from Nadigar Sangam have been requested to perform the last rites of the late actor as he doesnt have family members to carry out the funeral arrangements. In a heartbreaking video, shared by Abhinay earlier, the actor revealed that doctors had given him only a year and a half to live. “I don’t know if I will be around for longer,” he shared. The clip immediately went viral. 

Meanwhile, the industry is mourning the death of Abhinay Kinger. Filmmaker Kalatheeswaran R took to X (Formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Heartfelt tribute to actor Abinay, the vibrant soul behind Thulluvadho Ilamai. His energy, passion, and unforgettable presence will live forever in Tamil cinema and in our hearts. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.” Additionally, many fans have also expressed deep sorrow.

Who Is Abhinay Kinger?

Abhinay's acting journey began with the breakthrough film Thulluvadho Ilamai, where he starred alongside Dhanush. He went on to appear in more than 15 films across Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema. In addition to acting, his work extended to advertisements and dubbing projects, notably lending his voice to Vidyut Jammwal for the 2012 AR Murugadoss hit, Thuppakki, which starred Thalapathy Vijay. A few weeks prior, Abhinay had made his final public appearance at a film press conference held in Chennai.
