The Raja Saab New Release Date: Prabhas has delighted fans with the announcement of a new release date after the film faced uncertainty. The Raja Saab was initially slated to release on December 5, but was pushed, with reports suggesting the reason was to avoid a box office clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar. Amid the release buzz, the makers of The Raja Saab have finally confirmed the release date, promising a perfect year-end cinematic treat during the Sankranthi festivities. They also unveiled the new poster of Prabhas' character in the movie.

The Raja Saab New Release Date Unveiled

Taking to Instagram, Prabhas dropped a new poster featuring himself in a joyous dance pose, surrounded by people celebrating. As the actor celebrate his 46th birthday, he treated fans to the much-awaited release date for The Raja Saab. He wrote, "See you all in theatres on January 9th, 2026….#TheRajaSaab."

Soon, fans flooded the comments section with their excitement. One user wrote, "Happiest birthday rebelgod . Long live king," while another commented, "Back To Back Blockbuster Posters, Anna Euuuuuuu."

Earlier, speaking about The Raja Saab release delay, the film's producer TG Vishwa Prasad, in an interview with Great Andhra, said, "See, I didn’t announce this publicly. But many people are of the view that it should be released for Sankranthi. Fans want that, as do Telugu business circles. There’s a strong proposal to release it on 9 January.”

The producer also accused the VFX supervisor of causing the film's release delay, alleging that he was in extortion mode.

In a recent interview with NDTV, Vishwa claimed, "I can name a few people who really put us in trouble. I’ve already named one for Karthikeya 2, and another for The Raja Saab, who was really in extortion mode. He made us delay our movie because he didn’t do any of the work until October 2024. We were supposed to come in April 2025."

Blaming the VFX supervisor, he added, "He didn’t work on a single shot and just kept everything with him, taking a monthly fee for his entourage and team. He threatened the director that he would quit if he said something. And this person has a habit of doing this. He was recently kicked out of SS Rajamouli’s film. Since he got busy with Pushpa 2, he didn’t do any of our work. Someday, I’ll show him what the fee is for his extortion."
