Yuzvendra Chahal was recently accused by Dhanashree Verma of cheating on her within the first two months of their marriage. For the same reason, a video of her competing as a participant on the reality show Rise & Fall went viral. Since she made this revelation on the show, many have been questioning whether the Indian cricket player actually did that.
Yuzvendra Chahal stated in an interview with Hindustan Times that he is a sportsman and does not cheat. He asserted that the marriage would not have lasted this long if someone had cheated within two months. He said, "For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life, and everyone else should do, too."
Yuzvendra Chahal went on to say that he and Dhanashree were married for over four and a half years. He quipped, "Who would continue if I had cheated within two months?" He added, "Abhi bhi kai log uss cheez ko pakde hue hain, abhi bhi unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected. And I have a feeling this is the last time I am addressing that chapter of my life."

The India cricketer maintained that he had forgotten about this chapter. "Mai iss chapter ko bhula chuka hun. Koi kuch bhi keh deta hai, and social media pe chal jata hai. 100 baatein chalti hain, but the truth is only one, and those who matter, know it. Mere liye chapter closed hai. I don’t want to address it ever again. I am focusing on my life and on my game," he continued.
Yuzvendra Chahal ended by discussing his current relationship status, he is single. and adding that he is not yet ready to meet anyone yet. He went on to say that he is happy, his mother is happy, and life is comfortable.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma Wedding
In December 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma were married in Gurugram. Yuzi enrolled in Dhanashree's dance classes during the COVID-19 lockdown, which sparked their romance. The couple, however, filed a joint divorce suit in family court in February 2025. They have been living apart since 2022, the complaint stated. The Bombay High Court accelerated the divorce process by removing the cooling-off period and completed it before the 2025 Indian Premier League.
According to reports, Dhanashree Verma was given Rs 4.75 crore in alimony as part of the settlement. She is currently a contestant in an over-the-top reality show, Rise And Fall.
