Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have always supported each other in their relationship. During interviews, they openly express admiration for one another, emphasising their roles as each other's biggest cheerleaders.
During a recent interview, Nick Jonas shared a heart-warming incident where Priyanka Chopra ensured the accuracy of his pronunciation in the song Maan Meri Jaan. He also mentioned acquiring various Hindi phrases over the years, including the "bad phrases" taught to him by Priyanka's friends when he initially arrived in India.

In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Nick Jonas was asked if he has picked up on Hindi phrases, to which, replied, "A few. Her friends decided to teach me all the bad things, the bad phrases when I first got there. They didn't tell me what I was saying. And then I figured it out later on. But it's amazing that there's bits and pieces now that I understand and kind of string certain things together. Mainly I just listen for sort of like the words I know, which are mostly food."
For the unversed, Nick Jonas recently released a Hindi-English collaboration titled Main Meri Jaan with King, where he lent his vocals to the English lyrics and also sang the Hindi lyrics towards the end of the song. During the interview, Nick discussed how Priyanka Chopra assisted him in singing the Hindi parts and humorously mentioned the various names he has been called since marrying her.
He talked at length about the cultural impact of his marriage to Priyanka in 2018, revealing that he is often referred to as "Nick Jiju" in India. The actor-singer shared an amusing incident where a photographer even called him "Nickua" during his visit to inaugurate the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
He further added, "Well, Paneer is my favourite. Paneer is the best." He said that there are a couple of spots in LA that he and Priyanka go to for Indian food. "Then in New York she has got her restaurant Sona, which has really delicious Indian food with a twist on it," he added.
Later, during a rapid-fire round, Nick Jonas was presented with a series of choices. He expressed his preference for jalebi over gulab jamun and samosa over spring roll. When asked to choose between Priyanka Chopra's movies Baywatch and Bajirao Mastani, Nick selected Bajirao Mastani, while also mentioning that Barfi is his favourite movie of hers.
