OMG 2 Box Office Collection Day 8: Akshay Kumar's movie 'Oh My God 2' (OMG 2) raked in an approximate Rs 5.6 crore nett in India on Friday. According to a Sacnilk.com report, the cumulative earnings of 'OMG 2' at the domestic box office currently stands at approximately Rs 90.65 crore nett. Notably, the film garnered Rs 85.05 crore during its first week of release.

'OMG 2' saw slight growth on Friday, after earning Rs 5.58 crore nett in India on Thursday. The film is expected to see a huge jump and make around Rs 8 crore on Saturday, as per Sacnilk.com, taking its total earnings to Rs 98.65 crore in nine days. The film had released on August 11, alongside Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2,' which has been performing very well at the box office.

On Friday, the Hindi screenings of 'OMG 2' had an overall occupancy of 24.53 per cent. The film's initial opening in India amounted to Rs 10.26 crore nett, followed by a substantial day 2 collection of Rs 15.3 crore, reflecting a notable growth of 49.12 per cent. Witnessing further progression, 'OMG 2' achieved a 14.71 per cent growth on day 3, accumulating Rs 17.55 crore nett in India. Subsequently, the film earned Rs 12.06 crore on day 4, Rs 17.1 crore on day 5, and its lowest collection of Rs 7.2 crore on day 6.

About OMG 2:

Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam are also a part of the cast in 'OMG 2.' Directed by Amit Rai, the film showcases Pankaj Tripathi in the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, an ardent follower of Lord Shiva who takes legal action against the education system for misleading his child. Akshay portrays the role of a divine messenger of Lord Shiva, while Yami Gautam assumes the character of a lawyer in 'OMG 2.'

The initial instalment, 'OMG: Oh My God,' made its debut in 2012, with Akshay starring alongside Paresh Rawal. The movie was helmed by director Umesh Shukla.
