Madharaasi OTT Release Timeline: Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth starrer action thriller movie released in theatres on September 5. Amid its slow and steady pace theatrical run, there is an update on the OTT release of Madharaasi. The action thriller is slated for digital release next month. As per a report by 123Telugu, Madharaasi is expected to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on October 3 in Tamil, Telugu and other languages. However, the official date will only be announced after its competition theatrical run.

What Is Madharaasi All About?

The movie is about a man, reeling from a breakup, with a tragic past, who turned involved in an operation to stop the mass distribution of weapons. Madharaasi features Sivakarthikeyan as Raghu Ram, Rukmini Vasanth as Malathy, Vidyut Jammwal as Virat, Biju Menon as Premnath, Vikranth as Sandeep Premnath, Shabeer Kallarakkal as Chirag, Aadukalam Naren as Inspector Manikandan and Thalaivasal Vijay as Dr. Kannan.

Madharaasi has been directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by N Srilakshmi Prasad. The cinematography was done by Sudeep Elamon. The music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

What Is The Box Office Collection Of Madharaasi?

As per a report by Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.54 crore on Day 11. The total net collection of Madharaasi stands at Rs 57.24 crore in just 11 days of release. The movie opened at the box office, earning Rs 13.65 crore. The film performed well at the ticket windows in the first weekend. However, it has fluctuated in pace until now.

As per several reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 180 crore. The movie is currently far away from the budget mark.
