Shilpa Shetty's husband and entrepreneur Raj Kundra is in the final preparations for the release of his much-awaited film 'UT69', scheduled to grace the silver screen on November 3 this year. The movie delves into Raj Kundra's personal experience during his time at Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail, linked to allegations of involvement in a case related to explicit content production. In a recent interview, Raj candidly discussed Shilpa Shetty's response to the news of his entry into the world of acting.

Speaking to News 18, Raj said, “She (Shilpa) was a few feet away from me when I decided to tell her that I am making a film. I didn’t want to go too close to her.”

He added, "I told her that I have a script and was waiting for her answer. When I turned away from her, a flying chappal came at my face. I think she thought that the idea was a little dicey first. Maybe she thought that the film wouldn’t get made."
