Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar are currently basking in the success of their latest film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. They will reportedly reunite for another project but as actors not as director-actor duo. As per the latest reports, Ranveer and Karan will be seen together in Aryan Khan's series.
According to a report by Mid-Day, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar will have cameo roles in Aryan Khan's directorial debut. The series has reportedly been titled 'Stardom' and Ranveer and Karan have shot for their sequence on Monday.
“Karan and Ranveer reported on the set around 2 pm. The duo shot for a grand party sequence at Imperial Palace Hotel in Goregaon. The filming went on for the next eight hours, with the cast and crew calling it a day only by 10 pm.” a source close to the development was quoted as saying by Mid-Day.
'Stardom' will reportedly be a six-part web series and will focus on the glamorous world of Bollywood.

Ranveer was seen as Rocky Randhawa in Karan Johar's directorial and received appreciation for his portrayal of the character. In an interview with Film Companion, Karan Johar talked about how Ranveer Singh became Rocky Randhawa in the film. He said, "Ranveer was with me right through those three weeks on a recce in Delhi. He would meet Instagrammers, speak to them, pick up lingos, he would absorb. He would also be driving around Delhi at night and just getting the flavour. I don't know what he was doing but he had a process."
He further added, "He worked it. He created the Rocky Randhawa. You see is a lot on paper but it has a lot to do with him."
Ranveer also expressed his gratitude towards the audience for loving his performance and said that the audience's reaction has filled him with immense joy. In a statement, Ranveer said, "I’m touched and overwhelmed with this outpouring of love. It is beyond my imagination. People are laughing, crying and cheering for Rocky in the halls."
He added, "I’ve witnessed it first hand and it is so heartening to see. The kind of unanimously emotional and effusive reactions that are pouring in has filled me with immense joy. It’s a special one. My heart is glowing with gratitude today."
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be seen in 'Don 3'. Karan Johar has announced his next film 'Kill' which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2023.
