Ranveer Singh Mirrors Ranbir Kapoor's Varmala Scene: Alia Bhatt's latest film, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,' has achieved both commercial and critical acclaim. During a recent press conference celebrating the film's success, Karan Johar disclosed interesting details about the movie. He revealed that Alia's wedding scene in the film was shot merely four days after her real-life wedding. Additionally, the mehendi featured in the movie was the same design she had during her actual wedding. However, it was Alia herself who shared an interesting story from her wedding day that caught everyone's attention.

At the event, Alia revealed that there was an interesting connection between her on-screen marriage to Ranveer Singh and her real-life nuptials to Ranbir Kapoor. It turns out that a similar moment occurred during her wedding with Ranbir, as she fondly recalled when Ranveer Singh knelt down in the movie.

She said: "The moment which you see in the song jab ranveer niche jata hai put his head like that and lets me put the varmala on him woh actually mere sath hua tha. Joh pehle ranveer ko uthaya tha mai dekh rahi hu ki mujhe koi nahi utha raha. Then he went down on his knees and then I put the Varmala on him. That was twice, kaafi close hogaya sab kuch (The moment you see in the song when Ranveer goes down and puts his head down for me to place the varmala, that has actually happened with me. I was seeing that no one was lifting me as they had lifted Ranveer earlier. Then he went down on his knees, and I put the varmala on him. That happened twice, and everything was quite similar)."
