At the trailer launch of his highly anticipated film Sikandar in Mumbai on Sunday, March 23, Salman Khan was faced with questions about the significant age gap between him and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Characteristically, Bollywood's beloved Bhaijaan chose to address the issue with his trademark wit and humor, effortlessly deflecting the attention from the topic. The event, which was attended by the film's star-studded cast and crew, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sajid Nadiadwala, among others, provided the perfect platform for Salman to showcase his quick wit and charm.

According to a report in News18, Salman Khan said during an event, “Heroine ke father ko problem nahi hain. Kal jab inki shaadi ho jayegi, bacche ho jaenge, aur tab bhi kaam karenge. Pati ka permission toh mil hi jayega na? (The heroine’s father has no problem. Tomorrow, when she gets married and has children, she will still continue working. She will get her husband’s permission, right?).”
Salman went on to state, “She has given her best. She was shooting for Pushpa 2. She would finish shooting by 7pm and join us for shoot from 9pm. She used to work with us til 6.30 in the morning and then go back to work for Pushpa 2 and she was not well too.”
“And then, after breaking her leg, she shot with us and didn’t cancel a single day. She reminds me a lot of me, younger me,” said Salman.
