Battle Of Galwan Update: Salman Khan recently wrapped up the Ladakh schedule of his upcoming action drama Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, this is one of the most highly anticipated projects, thanks to its cast and storyline. The actor recently returned to Mumbai and is expected to commence the second schedule of the film in the city this month. Several photos of Salman from the sets and interacting with locals surfaced online during the Ladakh schedule. Apoorva Lakhia and actor Ankur Bhatia also kept fans updated by sharing behind-the-scenes on their respective social media handles.

In this schedule of Battle Of Galwan, Salman will be joined by his female lead, Chitrangada Singh. According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times shared, "After wrapping up the first schedule of the film, Salman along with his battalion of actors will resume the second schedule of the film in Mumbai from October 10, 2025 onwards and is expected to end by November."

The source added, “Chitrangada Singh will also be the part of this second schedule. The recce has been done already but the details on the exact locations are still under wraps."

Earlier, Pinkvilla reported, “Salman Khan and the entire crew shot for Battle of Galwan at sub-10 degrees temperature in Ladakh. In fact, the actor battled his physical injuries, braving low oxygen levels and extreme weather conditions. The team have shot for some action sequences, and dramatic moments at real locations. There have been minor injury concerns for Salman as well, and he will be resting over the next week before returning to the sets for the Mumbai schedule. Around 45 days of the film have been shot at real locations in Ladakh, and Salman Khan was on the sets for 15 days for his part."

Announcing the project, Salman shared a BTS photo featuring his face, partially visible behind a clapboard. He was seen dressed in a military uniform with a bloodstain mark on his face and an intense expression, setting the tone of the film.

Battle of Galwan, a war drama, is based on the Galwan Valley clashes at the India-China border in 2020. The intense clash between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region, where 200 soldiers bravely fought against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army Soldiers. The film is set to blend intense action sequences with an emotionally charged storyline. Besides Salman, the film also features Chitrangda Singh, Abhilash Chaudhary, Ankur Bhatia, Zeyn Shaw, Vipin Bhardwaj, Nirbhay Chaudhary, Heera Sohal, Abhishree Sen and Siddharth Mooley.
