Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection Day 12: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's film 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' was performing steadily at the box office, maintaining an average collection. However, after a strong second weekend, the film experienced a slight drop in its earnings. On July 10, it managed to garner Rs 2 crore, which is considered decent for a Monday. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' is now set to face tough competition from Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible 7' releasing on July 12.
Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani reunite as the romantic leads in 'Satyaprem Ki Katha', following their previous collaboration in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The film had an impressive start at the box office, collecting Rs 9.5 crore on its opening day. However, its earnings have been gradually declining over the past few days. Although, on Saturday, June 8, the film surpassed the Rs 60-crore milestone, on day 12, June 10, its earnings witnessed another drop.
According to preliminary estimates, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' raked in Rs 2 crore in India, marking a significant dip from its weekend collection of Rs 5 crore. With this, the film's total domestic box office collection for the past 12 days stands at Rs 68.06 crore. On July 10, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 10.24 per cent.

Apart from Kartik and Kiara, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' boasts an ensemble cast including Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. This project is a collaboration between NGE (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment) and Namah Pictures. Notably, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia, along with Kishor Arora and director Sameer Vidwans, were honoured with National Awards for their respective films, 'Chhichhore' and 'Anandi Gopal'.
The film portrays Satyaprem, lovingly called Sattu, as a cheerful and kind-hearted person in his thirties. Despite being aware of the considerable social gap between them, Sattu remains determined to marry Katha, the daughter of a wealthy businessman. He acknowledges that Katha comes from a higher social stratum and believes she is beyond his reach.
In a surprising turn of events, Sattu's dreams take an unexpected twist when Katha's parents visit his home and propose a marriage alliance. This pivotal moment sets Sattu on a mission to win Katha's heart and prove himself as a deserving partner. Along this journey, he embarks on a path of self-discovery, discovering his true self and realising the significance of commitment and love in nurturing a fulfilling marital bond.
