Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection Day 10: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' had a promising beginning at the box office but is now experiencing a dip in its earnings. The film recorded its lowest figures on Friday, marking a slowdown in its collection over the past 9 days.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani reunited as the romantic leads in 'Satyaprem Ki Katha'. The duo previously shared screen space in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. Following a steady performance, the film has now surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office.

On its ninth day, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' experienced a massive drop in its box office numbers. The official figures revealed that the film earned only Rs 2.85 crore on July 7 and recorded an overall occupancy of 12.14 per cent. However, on its 10^th day of release, the film performed slightly better than Friday and earned Rs 4.85 crore, bringing its total collection to Rs 60.90 crore. ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ had an overall 22.31 per cent Hindi occupancy on Saturday.

In the film, Satyaprem, also known as Sattu, is a fun-loving and kind-hearted young man in his early to mid-thirties. Despite being aware of the stark difference in their social status, Satyaprem is determined to marry Katha, who happens to be the daughter of a prominent businessman. He considers Katha to be beyond his reach and knows that she belongs to a higher social stratum.

However, his dreams take an unexpected turn when Katha's parents visit his house and propose marriage to him. This marks the beginning of Sattu's journey to win Katha's heart and prove himself as a deserving husband. Along the way, he discovers his true self and learns the importance of commitment and love in order to maintain a successful marriage.

The film is a collaboration between NGE (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment) and Namah Pictures. Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia, along with Kishor Arora and director Sameer Vidwans, received National Awards for their respective feature films, 'Chhichhore' and 'Anandi Gopal'.
