Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection Day 9: The romantic film 'Satyaprem Ki Katha,' helmed by Sameer Vidwans and starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, kicked off its box office journey with a promising start. Prior to its official release, the film had an advance screening on Thursday, June 29. According to reports, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' amassed an impressive collection of Rs 8.50 crore on its opening day.

As per a report on boxofficeindia.com, the film's earnings were substantial enough to secure its spot as the 6th highest-grossing film on the opening day list for 2023.

Following the extraordinary collection of Rs 55.72 crore by Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan,' which holds the top position, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' secured the sixth spot on the list. 'Adipurush' claimed the second place with earnings of Rs 31.73 crore, while 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' accumulated Rs 13.78 crore and 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' garnered Rs 13.39 crore, placing them in the third and fourth positions, respectively. 'Bholaa' concluded the top five with a collection of Rs 10.12 crore.

However, after a promising start, the film experienced a significant drop in its earnings. On the ninth day of release, the romantic comedy managed to accumulate only Rs 2.70 crore nett in India. The film's total collection now stands at Rs 55.91 crore in India.
