Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the IPL match in Ahmedabad with his children Suhana and Abram. The actor was reportedly hospitalised in the city due to heat stroke and dehydration. The news made his fans worried and as per the latest report, the superstar has now been discharged after getting his treatment. The 'Pathaan' actor was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan reportedly arrived at the hospital to meet him. Juhi Chawla also arrived at the hospital with her husband Jay Mehta to meet the actor.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 'Dunki' along with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.

He also starred in 'Pathaan' in 2023 and will reportedly return for the film's sequel. According to a report by Pinkvilla, 'Pathaan 2' will go on floors by December 2024. "This is the twist to the YRF Spy Universe timeline - Pathaan 2 will predate Tiger vs Pathaan and will set up the clash of two cinematic legends on the big screen. Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan is definitely a character that has resonated with the audiences, and there is a constant on-ground demand from the audience to see more of SRK in the spy avatar," a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

The source added, "Pathaan 2 is being designed as the tentpole spy film of the universe that will set things up for bigger conflict in the times to come. It will set up the next phase of YRF Spy Universe's timeline. In fact, P2 sets things up for the big battle between Tiger and Pathaan (Tiger vs Pathaan) in the future timeline."

The movie also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles with Salman Khan in a cameo role. Co-written and directed by Siddharth Anand, 'Pathaan' is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films.
