Rohit Shetty has officially confirmed that Arjun Kapoor is indeed portraying the antagonist in 'Singham Again'. Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker unveiled two intense images of the actor in his menacing role to make the significant announcement. In the poster, the actor appears with an intense and bloodied appearance, portraying a menacing character. In another snap, Arjun shares the frame with Ranveer Singh, who reprises his role as Simmba in the movie.

Sharing the posters, Rohit wrote, "Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai… Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai! CAN I SAY – INTRODUCING ARJUN KAPOOR!” Arjun also shared the photos and wrote, “Singham ka villain! Feeling on top of the world being a part of hit-machine Rohit Shetty sir’s cop universe! I promise you there will be mayhem #SinghamAgain.” Ranveer shared the photos with the caption, “MY BABA BADDEST !!! ️."

Calling himself 'villain', Arjun wrote, "Singham ka villain! Feeling on top of the world being a part of hit-machine Rohit Shetty sir’s cop universe! I promise you there will be mayhem."

Fans flooded the comments section with their reactions. One comment expressed anticipation for seeing Arjun Kapoor pitted against all the cops, while another noted the intensity of Arjun's look. A third highlighted the excitement for the reunion of the Gunday cast, coincidentally on the film's 10th anniversary today.

'Singham' marked the inception of this franchise, and Ajay Devgn is returning to portray his iconic role once more. Joining him, Ranveer Singh will reprise his character Simbba, while Akshay Kumar takes on the role of Sooryavanshi in 'Singham Again'. Deepika Padukone makes history as the first female cop in this cinematic universe, portraying Shakti Shetty.

The film is slated to release on Independence Day, August 15, 2024.
