Superstar Rajnikanth will be collaborating with 'Jai Bhim' director TJ Gnanavel for his upcoming film. Tentatively referred to as 'Thalaivar 170', the film will be having a major cameo of 'Jai Bhim' actor Suriya.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla, actor Suriya will be having an extended cameo of 15 minutes. The lead star of the director's blockbuster debut film, 'Jai Bhim', this is a dream team reunion.

Although there has been no confirmation made from either party's end, however, fans are already awaiting a smashing entry of the two superstars in one frame. The film is touted to be a socially relevant mainstream film, where Rajnikanth will be playing a right seeker.

The film is backed up by Lyca Productions, where Anirudh Ravchandar will have the music score under his reign adding an interesting addition to the crew. The untitled film is slated to begin production in the coming months after the release of Rajnikanth's much-awaited film 'Jailer.'

In 'Thalaivar 170', the actor is touted to play the role of a cop, based on a real-life personality. Talking about Rajnikanth's upcoming release 'Jailer', the film is one of the most anticipated films of the year, as the superstar will be returning to the big screen after two years.

Having a star-studded cast and being a promising action-thriller, it also features Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, and Shiv Rajkumar in lead roles. The musical score of the film is given by Anirudh Ravichander, while Vijay Karthik Kannan will be handling the camera.

The film is edited by R Nirmal and is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The team of 'Jailer' is planning to make it a pan-Indian film with a large cast from different regional language industries, it is touted to be one of the blockbusters of 2023.
