Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Release Date: Randeep Hooda is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood and has always managed to impress the audience with his stellar performances. He is all set to star in the biopic of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar with the same title and will be seen in the lead role. The movie was officially announced in 2022 with a poster featuring Randeep. 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar' also marks the directorial debut of the 'Sarbjit' actor. Randeep has finally given a new update about the movie and announced its official release date.

'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' will hit the theatres on March 22, 2024.
Sharing the motion poster of 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar', Randeep wrote in the caption, "Two heroes of Indian Independence Struggle; One celebrated and One removed from History. On #MartyrsDay 2024 - HISTORY WILL BE REWRITTEN."

The first look of 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' was unveiled in 2022. Unveiling his first look, Randeep wrote, "This is a salute to one of the tallest unsung heroes of India’s struggle for freedom and self-actualisation. I hope I can live up to the challenge of filling such big shoes of a true revolutionary and tell his real story which had been brushed under the carpet for so long..Wishing you all a very Happy #VeerSavarkarJayanti!".

For the unversed, Veer Savarkar was a politician, activist and writer and one of the foremost pioneers of the Hindu nationalist political ideology. The movie was supposed to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar but he backed out of the project.
On the work front, Randeep was last seen in 'Sergeant', which is streaming on JioCinema. He will next star in 'Unfair & Lovely' along with Ileana D'Cruz.
