After the massive success of the Netflix movie Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Taapsee Pannu and writer Kanika Dhillon collaborated again for an upcoming feature film Gandhari. The movie is an action thriller drama that promises to explore different kinds of love which is the bond between mother and child. Its powerful storyline which will showcase the relentless determination and intense personal stakes of Gandhari. Taapsee will be portraying the role of a fierce mom on a difficult mission. The movie also marks the second collaboration of Netflix and Kathha Pictures.

Taapsee Pannu said, “There’s a special kind of magic that happens when Kanika and I come together to work on a film. With Gandhari, we’re venturing into new emotional depths, and I’m thrilled to explore this intense character. I did action 9 years ago, and I've been waiting for a script that would bring me back to it and challenge me in new ways. On the other hand, Kanika shared “Gandhari is a gripping emotional story with heightened personal stakes. This one-of-a-kind action thriller is a testament to our commitment to delivering stories that are both unique and deeply engaging. We are excited to reunite with the dynamic duo, Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee Pannu, following the tremendous success of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Netflix shared a picture of Taapsee Pannu and  Kanika Dhillon on Instagram to announce the film Gandhari. It reads, “The Hasseen writer-actor duo is back 🔥 Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee Pannu return with an action thriller. Gandhari arrives soon, only on Netflix.”
