She added, "And for the few still calling #TheKeralaStory a propaganda film, saying these incidents do not exist even after watching testimonials of several Indian victims and their parents, my humble request, Google two words ISIS and Brides...maybe an account of white girls narrated to you might make you feel that our Indian movie is real."

Meanwhile, the theatres in Tamil Nadu have decided to remove the film due to the poor public reception and concerns about potential law and order problems. As per recent reports, Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Shah have decided to take legal action against the ban.

According to ETimes, Sudipto Sen and Vipul Shah have decided to take legal action against the ban. “Yes, we are going to court. We will also be conducting a press conference later today,” Sudipto told ETimes.

'The Kerala Story' stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani. The movie was released in theatres on May 5, 2023.
