Following a reported road accident on Sunday, The Kerala Story actor Adah Sharma addressed the incident on Twitter to give an update to her fans and followers. As news of the accident began circulating online, Adah took to social media to share the latest information.
Sharma reassured her fans that she was in good health and that the accident was not major. In a tweet, she expressed her gratitude for the concern and flood of messages she received. Adah stated that she and the entire team were fine and that there were no serious or major injuries resulting from the incident.

Amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding The Kerala Story, Adah Sharma has reportedly received death threats. The film has been subjected to criticism from certain political parties and groups who allege that it does not present factual information and promotes hatred towards the Muslim community. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also announced a ban on the film in the state.
Adah Sharma expressed her gratitude to the audience for the immense success of The Kerala Story, despite the numerous controversies surrounding the film. In a tweet, she acknowledged the challenges she faced, including discrediting, mocking, threats, teaser shadow banning, and bans imposed on the film in certain states.
However, she celebrated the film's achievement as the top female-led movie in its first week of release. Adah praised the audience for their support and mentioned their victory, expressing excitement about taking the film to an international level.
"Discrediting my sincerity, mocking my integrity, threats, our teaser getting shadow banned, the movie getting banned in certain states, slander campaigns launched… BUT you, the audience made #TheKeralaStory the no. 1 female lead movie first week of all time!! Wowww! Audience aap Jeet Gaye. You won and now we go international," she tweeted.
The Kerala Story continues to perform impressively at the box office, poised to surpass the Rs 130 crore milestone within two weeks of its release. Premiered on May 5, the film delves into the narratives of Hindu women from Kerala who were coerced into converting to Islam and trafficked to ISIS. Produced by Vipul Shah and helmed by Sudipto Sen, the film has garnered significant attention and success.
