Turbo Box Office Collection Day 1: The Malayalam-language action comedy movie directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, stars superstar Mammootty in the titular role. The plot revolves around Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver from Idukki, who is compelled to relocate to Chennai due to unforeseen problems. In Chennai, he meets Indhulekha and her brother Jerry, but soon finds himself facing unexpected challenges, including encounters with Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram and others.

Turbo Box Office Report

Malayalam movie 'Turbo' performed exceptionally well on its first day at the box office, earning around Rs 5.70 crore net in India. On Thursday, May 23, 2024, the film had an overall Malayalam occupancy of 48.53%. The breakdown of occupancy throughout the day shows strong audience turnout, with morning shows at 49.73%, afternoon shows at 43.01%, evening shows at 46.84%, and night shows peaking at 54.53%.

Turbo Budget

The first-day box office collection worldwide for 'Turbo,' starring Mammootty, Raj B. Shetty, Sunil, and Anjana Jayaprakash, has kicked off to a promising start. Made reportedly on an overall budget of 60 Crores, inclusive of all expenses, the film has garnered positive traction at the box office.

In 'Turbo,' Mammootty portrays Aruvipurathu Jose, also known as Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver from Idukki who encounters trouble and is compelled to relocate to Chennai. There, he becomes involved with Indhulekha, played by Anjana Jayaprakash, and her brother Jerry. However, unforeseen challenges emerge, including confrontations with Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, portrayed by Raj B. Shetty, along with his associates Auto Billa, played by Sunil, and Vincent, portrayed by Kabir Duhan Singh.

Turbo also stars Bindu Panicker as Rosakutty, Jose's teacher, Janardhanan as Aruvipurath Mathachan, Jose's father, and Siddique as Aruvipurath Joseph, Jose's elder brother.
