When BTS Jhope Had To Shower With Other Trainees After Joining Military, Kpop Star Recalls ‘Most Embarrassing’ Moment

BTS Jhope was discharged from the military on October 17, 2024, after having an 18-month stay there. Recently, the kpop star shared one of his embarrassing moments when he joined the service. Jhope aka Jung Hoseok recalled the time when he took his first shower. He shared that all the trainees used to bathe together after they join the service. Seeing this, Jhope initially felt embarrassed but later flaunted his ‘celebrity body’. Here is what Jhope said. 

In Jung Jae Hyung’s talk show, Jhope talked about his first bath at the camp along with other trainees. The Kpop star said, “We all do it the same way, and for me, that was the most embarrassing. As soon as I entered, I immediately thought, ‘How am I supposed to shower here?’ That thought struck me right away! and I just decided to be bold about it.” He then said, “Oh, you’re all going to get a look at a celebrity’s body today, huh? It’s been a while since I’ve referred to myself as a celebrity. I don’t usually use that.” 

“About a month before discharge all sorts of thoughts began to fill my head, back then it was just.. ‘When will time pass?’ ‘When will I finally be discharged?’. As I had about a month left I slowly started to feel scared. It was the first time having such a long break. I worried, ‘Will I be able to adjust back?’ ‘How can I overcome this quickly?’. So I thought… ‘Let me just immerse myself in the culture I love’. So right after discharge I quickly decided what to do, got prepared, and immediately went to the US,” he added.
