Amrit Bharat Train: The Southern Railway is set to run the first Amrit Bharat train between Erode in Tamil Nadu and Jogbani in Bihar for the convenience of devotees travelling to Vindhyadham. The new service, set to be inaugurated on September 15, aims to boost religious tourism to Vindhyadham and provide a convenient option to passengers travelling from Southern India to Bihar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off four trains on September 15, including a Vande Bharat train and two Amrit Bharat trains, Jagran.com reported. The inauguration of new train services in Bihar comes ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections scheduled to be held in October and November this year.

Erode-Jogbani Amrit Bharat Train: Check Route, Timetable And Stoppages
Erode-Jogbani Train Frequency: Train number 16601/06602, the Erode-Jogbani-Erode Amrit Bharat train will run once a week.
Train Number 16601 Route: Train number 16601 will leave Erode every Thursday at 7:00 AM and arrive in Jogbani at 7:00 PM on Saturday.
Train Number 06602 Route: In its return journey, train number 06602 will depart from Jogbani every Sunday at 3:15 PM and reach Erode at 7:00 AM on Wednesday.
Stoppages: In its journey, the train will halt at 50 stations, including Salem, Katpadi, Perambur, Vijayawada, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Patna and Katihar.
Coach Composition: The Erode-Jogbani Amrit Bharat train will comprise 22 coaches in total, including one second-class sitting coach, eight second-class sitting-cum-luggage coaches and two brake-cum-luggage coaches. One coach will be reserved for the railway staff's equipment.
Launch Date: The Erode-Jogbani Amrit Bharat train will be inaugurated on September 15 from Jogbani as a special train. PM Modi will flag off the Erode-Jogbani Amrit Bharat train.
“Jogbin-Erode Amrit Bharat new train is completely for general passengers and will run once a week. Apart from eight sleeper and 11 general coaches, it has two SLR/D and one pantry car and is fully equipped,” Jagran.com quoted Shashikant Tripathi, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Central Railway Prayagraj Division, as saying.
