Sairang-Guwahati Train:  With the aim of connecting Mizoram with the Indian Railways network, the Indian Railways is gearing up to launch a direct train service connecting Sairang in Mizoram to Guwahati in Assam. The Sairang-Guwahati train services will be managed and operated by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) zone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to flag off the Sairang-Guwahati Express Train on September 13, along with two other express trains to Delhi and Kolkata. The upcoming express trains from Mizoram to other parts of the country aim to improve connectivity and boost trade and economic growth.

Sairang-Guwahati Express Train: Check Route, Distance And Travel Time

Travel Time and Distance: Train Number 15610/15609, the Sairang-Guwahati-Sairang Express train, will cover a distance of 494 kilometres in 13 hours and 30 minutes, The Indian Express reported.

Stoppages: In its journey, the Sairang-Guwahati Express trains will stop at 11 stations, including Bairabi, Hailakandi, Kathakhal Junction, Badarpur Junction, New Harangajao, New Haflong, Maibong, Lumding, Hojai, Chaparmukh, and Jagi Road.

Frequency: The train will run daily between Sairang in Mizoram and Guwahati in Assam for the convenience of passengers.

Coach Composition: The Sairang-Guwahati Express train is equipped with a total of 17 coaches: AC-2 Tier (One), AC-3 Tier (Four), Sleeper Class (Six), General Second Class (Four), Brake, Luggage cum Generator Car (One) and SLRD (One).

Ticket Price: Passengers travelling in the Sairang-Guwahati Express train will have to pay Rs 300 for Sleeper Class, Rs 800 for AC 3 Tier, and Rs 1,130 for AC 2 Tier.

Sairang-Guwahati Express Train Timetable: Train number 15610 will depart from Sairang daily at 7:00 PM and arrive in Guwahati at 8:30 AM the next day.

Guwahati-Sairang Express Train Timetable: Train number 15609 will leave Guwahati at 7:00 PM and arrive in Sairang at 8:30 PM the next day. The train will cover the distance in 13 hours and 30 minutes.
