Bengaluru Power Cut July 24: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced scheduled power outage in multiple areas of Bengaluru on Thursday, July 24, in view of emergency maintenance work. BESCOM has urged cooperation from the consumers and advised them to plan their day in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Bengaluru Power Cut July 24: Affected Areas
Supply will be cut in areas of Tailagere, Bidalur, Yelliyur, Koramangala, Gobbargunte villages, Kundana Grama Panchayat, Bangalore Rural DC Office, Ravindra Nagar, Sannamanikere, Hiranandani, Devanahalli town, several layouts, Gokare, Bhuvanahalli, Chimachanahalli, Kannamangala, Yartiganahalli, Koira and surrounding areas including Alur-Duddanahalli.
There will also be power supply disruptions in areas near Kundana Sub-Station, including Koira Gram Panchayat, Bommawara, Santosh Nagar, Prashanath Nagar, Chikkasanne, Avati, Vishwanathpura and surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that several districts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall till July 28.
The weather department stated that while the coastal regions are likely to witness heavy rainfall, the other parts are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall. The continuous rainfall is likely to provide relief from the heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. However, the rainfall is also likely to lead to issues like waterlogging and power outages. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
