The Bengaluru Traffic Police has released a traffic advisory for July 5 in light of the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025, scheduled to be held at Kanteerava Stadium from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. With top javelin athletes participating and thousands of spectators expected to attend, heavy traffic congestion is likely in the surrounding areas. To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, authorities have issued a comprehensive advisory.

" Additionally, around 15,000 to 16,000 members of the public, including dignitaries, are expected to attend. In order to facilitate smooth public traffic movement, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented on the roads surrounding the Kanteerava stadium. Public are advised to use Metro and other public transport," traffic police official statement.

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, along with several international javelin athletes, will participate in the event. The turnout is expected to be significant, with an estimated 15,000 to 16,000 spectators, including VIPs, anticipated to attend.
Alternative Route
Vehicles from H.L.D Junction should take a right turn towards Hudson Junction, then proceed via Devanga Junction, Mission Road, Flyover, Residency Road.
Vehicles traveling from Richmond Junction towards Mysore Bank are advised to take the route via Mission Road, Subbiah Circle, Lalbagh Road, Poornima Junction, Shivaji Junction, Town Hall, Mysore Road.
Alternatively, they can reach Mysore Bank via N.R. Junction, Police Station Junction, K.G. Road.

Slow-moving traffic is expected in and around Hudson Junction, Shiddalingaya Junction, and R.R.M.R Junction. Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and consider alternative routes to avoid delays.
