According to the forecast, the weather from July 12 to July 16 is expected to remain generally cloudy with moderate rain. From July 17 to 18, the IMD forecasts "Rain" without issuing any official weather warnings for Bengaluru.

Karnataka Weather Update: Yellow Alert In Interior Karnataka

Heavy rainfall has been battering several districts in Karnataka, prompting authorities to issue alerts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has declared a yellow alert for North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Specific warnings have been issued for Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, and Kodagu districts, advising residents to exercise caution due to the likelihood of continued rain accompanied by strong winds.

 

The IMD predicts rain with thunder and lightning in these districts until July 14. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during this period of intense weather activity. Scattered heavy rains are expected in isolated areas of the state, with thunderstorms likely to occur along with the rains.
