Bengaluru Weather: Rain, Thunderstorms Expected In City Today | IMD Weekly Forecast

Bengaluru Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The rain activity is expected to bring down day time temperatures.

"Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers," the IMD stated. The city will witness a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.

Bengaluru Weekly Forecast

IMD has forecast intermittent showers in the city throughout the week accompanied by cloudy skies. The weather body has issued no warning in this regard. Similar weather conditions are likely to prevail till October 20.

Bengaluru Power Cut

Meanwhile, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced electricity supply cuts in multiple areas in Bengaluru till October 31 as a precautionary measure in view of electrical work.

As per Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), there will be supply disruption in view of emergency maintenance work.

As per BESCOM, feeder maintenance work is being carried out in Sub-Division 1. The electricity supply will be shut from 10 am to 5 pm. BESCOM has urged residents to cooperate during this period.
