Chennai Power Cut On June 30: Residents in Chennai will face a power supply cut for several hours on Monday as the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation is carrying out maintenance work. Over 40 locations in the city will face supply disruptions for five hours, from 9 am to 2 pm on June 30. 

Parts of Besant Nagar, Tambaram, Nehru Nagar and Hasthinapuram will be hit by a power supply cut. Officials have assured the residents that the power supply will resume early if the maintenance work is completed before the time.

Chennai Power Cut June 30:List Of Affected Areas

Besant Nagar: Affected areas under Basand Nagar are 4th Main Road, 32 to 35 Cross Street, 3rd Avenue, 5th Avenue, Alcott Kuppam, Customs Colony 1st Street, Tiruvalluvar Nagar, Bajanai Kovil Street and Orrur Ellai Amman Kovil Street.

Tambaram: Localities like Krishna Nagar (1&8 streets), Vetri Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Ramani Nagar, Malliga Nagar, Kumaran Nagar, Saraswathi Nagar, Parvathi Nagar, Sriram Nagar South, Part of Sriram Nagar North, and Balakrishnan Nagar in the Tambaram area will face supply disruption and inconvenience caused by it. 

Nehru Nagar: R P Road, Iyyasamy School Street, Rajaji Street, Patel Street and Sankarlal Jain Street. Part of Chitlapakkam 1 St Main Road, Old Hasthina puram Road, Santhana Krishnan Street, Mahadevan Street and Ramamoorthi Street.

Hasthinapuram: Three locations, including GST Road, Parvathy Hospital, and Katlanchavadi in Hasthinapuram, will undergo a five-hour-long electricity outage on Monday. 

Over 20 areas of Chennai in Tambaram, Porur and Pallavaram were hit by power supply Today due to scheduled maintenance work by the electricity department.
