Chennai Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast intermittent rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Chennai and surrounding Tamil Nadu districts till Sunday, October 12. After Sunday, the rain activity is expected to reduce.

Rain Activity To Reduce From Monday

From October 13, IMD has forecast partly cloudy skies. Light rain is likely between October 13 and 15 in certain areas. No warnings have been issued in this regard.

Tamil Nadu Weather Forecast

October 10: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Ghat areas of Coimbatore district, Nilgiris, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur and Vellore districts.

October 11: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Nilgiris, Erode, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Tirupattur, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi and Villuppuram districts & Puducherry.

October 14: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Nilgiris and Ghat areas of Coimbatore districts.
