Soldiers of the 56th battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) arrested a Chinese citizen at the Jogbani Integrated Check Post (ICP) located on the India-Nepal border on Monday, jagran.com reported.
The 41-year-old Chinese national, Zhou Huan, is a resident of China's Hunan Province. Initial investigation revealed that he entered the Indian border in Bihar’s Araria via the ICP on a scooter from Biratnagar, Nepal.
According to the SSB, he was entering India without any valid visa, passport or other travel document, due to which he was immediately detained.
Entry Of Chinese National Through Nepal
According to the SSB, the suspect was detained by the duty party deployed at ICP Jogbani. Joint interrogation with immigration officials confirmed that he was illegally entering India via Nepal on a scooter with a Nepali registration number without a valid visa when he was apprehended by the SSB personnel deployed at the gate.

After questioning and completing the necessary paperwork, the accused was handed over to the Jogbani police station for further legal action. Such actions in the border area are considered a sign of vigilance by security agencies.
In this regard, LPI Manager Ratnakar Yadav stated that the Chinese national was caught attempting to enter the country on a scooter with a Nepali registration number. Currently, all relevant agencies are engaged in questioning the arrested Chinese national.
