DDA Housing Scheme: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to offer ready-to-move-in housing units in the Narela region, which was recently renamed Vindhyachal, under Karmayogi Awaas Yojana. The scheme will be launched in December, and registration will also begin next month.

The Karmayogi Awaas Yojana, which is a DDA housing scheme, has been launched for government employees and offers housing units under three categories- Higher Income Group (HIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The apartments will be sold at a discount of 25 per cent.

As the DDA aims to attract a wider demography with the discounted price, it is also trying to rebrand the area as a hub for education and sport by allocating land to institutes and sports complexes.

Karmayogi Awaas Yojana Phases

The DDA will execute the Karmayogi Awaas Yojana in a phased manner. In the first phase, flats in Pocket 9 of Sectors A1 to A4 will be offered, while the further phases will depend on the response to Phase 1.

DDA Housing Scheme: Where Will Flats Be Available At Discount

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to offer flats at attractive discounted prices in Narela under its new housing scheme.

The scheme will cover Pockets 9, 6, and 13 in Sectors A1 to A4. In the first phase, the DDA will launch sales only in Pocket 9, which has 1,168 ready flats. The authority will watch public response before opening the next pockets.

DDA Flats Division Among Categories

Out of these, 272 flats are High-Income Group (HIG), 576 are Middle-Income Group (MIG), and 320 are meant for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

Pocket 6 and Pocket 13 will offer 936 and 1,552 flats respectively, which will include a further substantial share for each income group.

Located right next to GT Karnal Road and Urban Extension Road-II, the area has much better road connectivity than a year ago, officials said.

DDA Housing Scheme: DDA's Major Sub-City Projects In Delhi

Narela, now Vindhyachal, is one of the DDA-initiated three Sub-city projects, alongside Dwarka and Rohini. The project was proposed in the 1980s, but the genuine work accelerated only after 20000s.
