Jagatpuri Bus Fire News: A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus carrying around 50 passengers was completely gutted by fire in east Delhi’s Jagatpuri area on Thursday morning. However, no passengers sustained injuries in the incident and all of them were safely rescued shortly after the bus caught fire.
The bus fire was swiftly addressed by the Delhi Fire Service (DFS). According to Station Officer Anoop Singh, a call regarding the fire came in at 9:42 am, prompting the dispatch of three fire tenders to the scene. The fire, which occurred on a DTC bus en route to Seemapuri, is believed to have been caused by a short circuit in the vehicle's air conditioning system.
Delhi: A DTC bus on route no. 340 caught fire near the Jagatpuri red light in Shahdara district. Fortunately, all passengers were safely evacuated before the bus was completely destroyed. Three fire brigades arrived at the scene to control the blaze.

The bus was reportedly on its way to Seemapuri when a biker noticed smoke coming from the engine and alerted the driver. The driver quickly stopped the bus and asked passengers to evacuate. All 50 passengers onboard the bus were safely evacuated before the bus was completely engulfed in flames.
"The bus has completely burned down, and we made efforts to extinguish the fire from our side. The bus driver mentioned that the fire started due to a short circuit in the AC unit,” STO Anup Singh told news agency IANS.
