The initial launch sites include the Yamuna Sports Complex, Commonwealth Games Sports Complex, and two picturesque spots along the Yamuna riverfront, Asita and Baansera. The agency is expected to begin operations within two months, with DDA allocating 3,600 square meters of space at each site for the operation of tethered hot air balloons.
"However, DDA may extend it as per requirements. To ensure transparency and proper record keeping, all proceeds from ticketing will be credited to DDA's account," the statement added.

Each day, four hours of flying time will be permitted. The rides will be conducted on a revenue-sharing model with the private operator, who will also be allowed to display advertisements on the balloons. These will be tethered balloons, securely anchored to the ground with ropes for safety.
While the final ticket prices will be set by the operating agency, DDA has instructed that fares remain affordable to ensure accessibility for the general public.
