The Delhi Traffic Police on Saturday issued an advisory for June 29 near the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, where the 77th Foundation Day of Chartered Accountants-NIRC of ICAI will be held on Sunday. The event is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Main Arena (Gymnastics Stadium) of the venue. A large crowd is expected, and to ensure smooth traffic flow, crowd management, and security, the Delhi Police have announced temporary traffic arrangements.

The Delhi Traffic Police announced the advisory on its X account, which reads, “Traffic Directory, In view of the event being organised on the occasion of “77th Foundation Day of Institute of Chartered Accountants of ICAI NIRC” on 29.06.2025 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium (Main Arena – Gymnastics Stadium), traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place in the stadium and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 09:00 PM. Please follow the instructions. #DPTrafficAdvisory.”

Traffic Restrictions (10:00 AM – 9:00 PM):

The following roads may experience restrictions or diversions as required:

IP Marg (MGM Road)

Vikas Marg

Ring Road (from Rajghat to IP Depot)

Note: Heavy vehicles and buses will not be permitted on these routes during event hours.

Stadium Entry Points For Visitors:

Gates 07 and 08: Accessible via Velodrome Road

Gates 21 and 22: Accessible via MGM Road

Gates 16 and 18: Accessible via MGM Road

Parking Advisory:

Parking space is limited and reserved for vehicles displaying valid parking labels clearly on the windscreen.

Parking entry is through MGM Road via Ring Road.

No Parking Zones:

Parking is strictly prohibited on Ring Road between Rajghat and IP Flyover in both directions.

Vehicles parked illegally will be towed and legal action will be taken.

Instructions for Commuters:

Avoid the above-mentioned roads between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Use public transport to ease congestion.

Plan your trips in advance, especially if traveling to nearby hospitals, airports, or railway stations.

Only park in authorised areas; violators will be penalized.

Emergency Vehicles:
