Delhi Weather Today: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'yellow alert' for the National Capital, Delhi on Friday, advising residents to be cautious and prepared. The weather forecast indicates a generally cloudy sky with the potential for light to moderate rainfall, thundershowers and lightning across the city. Northwesterly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 12 km/h, while southeasterly winds could reach up to 16 km/h. Residents should also be prepared for gusty winds ranging from 25 to 35 km/h.
Temperatures are forecasted to fluctuate between a comfortable 28 degrees Celsius and a warm 36 degrees Celsius on Friday. The weather pattern is expected to persist throughout the week, with similar conditions anticipated in the days to come.

Delhi 5-Day Forecast
On Saturday, July 13, temperatures are likely to range from 26 to 35 degrees Celsius, with a generally cloudy sky and light rain. Sunday, July 14, is expected to see temperatures between 27 and 36 degrees Celsius, with a generally cloudy sky and very light rain.
The trend is set to continue on July 15 and 16, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 35 degrees Celsius and generally cloudy skies with very light to light rain. The week is expected to conclude on July 17 with temperatures between 28 and 34 degrees Celsius, a generally cloudy sky and very light to light rainfall.
Delhi Humidity
The recent weather conditions have had an impact on the temperature and humidity levels in the city. Over the past three days, the capital has experienced a five-degree increase in temperature, with the maximum temperature on Thursday being three degrees higher than the normal. The strong sunlight throughout the day has also contributed to a significant increase in humidity, making it a challenging environment for residents.

Delhi AQI
Despite the unsettled weather, the air quality in Delhi has remained relatively clean. On Thursday, the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 113, which falls within the 'moderate' category. This favourable air quality is expected to continue for the next two days as well.
