Ghaziabad Medical Student Suicide: The body of a first-year MDS student was found in the hostel of Divya Jyoti College in the Niwari police station area. The student has been identified as Renuka Yadav (26 years) from Rewari, Haryana. She did not come out of her room for a long time in the morning, and when her friends broke the door after some time, they came to know about the incident.
According to jagran.com, the police reached the spot and started the investigation. A suicide note was found at the spot, in which no one has been held responsible for the death.
Renuka has apologized to her relatives. It is being told that the student was ill for three days. She had come to the hostel only 15 days ago. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem.
In September, a student pursuing MD in Radiology from Maulana Azad Medical College situated in the IP Estate police station area of Central District died by suicide, reports jagran.com. On Sunday morning, his body was found hanging from the fan in his room in Delhi Parsi Anjuman (Parsi Dharamshala).
The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Dr. Navdeep Singh. He was originally from Muktsar Sahib in Punjab. The family is in shock after hearing the news of suicide. The police got the post-mortem done in the evening and handed over the body to the family. At present, the reason for committing suicide is not known.
