A video of a dance in the courtroom of Ravan in a Ramlila act organised in Haryana’s Palwal district went viral on social media, sparking outrage among the people for hurting the religious sentiments of many Hindus. The Hindu outfit, Bajrang Dal strongly opposed the action and demanded the Ramlila Committee to shut it down.

The regional general secretary of Bajrang Dal, Munish Bhardwaj, said that such an event insults Sanatan Dharma and is a knowingly or unknowingly attempt to destroy the religious cultural heritage. He warned that mockery of Hindu religion will not be tolerated in any religious event like Jagran or Ramlila during this festive season.
