Festive Special Trains: Ahead of the festive season, the railways has decided to operate multiple special trains on the Howrah-Delhi line to manage the rush. As per the officials, a significant surge in passengers is expected during the festivals, especially during the Durga Pooja, Diwali and Chhath. The services are likely to benefit the passengers of several states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal.
Multiple Services Announced
The North Central Railway has also decided to extend the services of several major special trains to manage the passengers. The special trains operating on Barauni, Darbhanga, Gwalior, Hubli and Yeshwantpur routes will continue to operate as per their pre-determined timetable, stoppages, and route, providing a major relief to the passengers. However, they have been advised to stay updated with the schedule and plan their travel accordingly to avoid the rush.

While providing details, Station Superintendent Jayanath Yadav stated that train stoppages have been fixed to provide relief to thousands of passengers, adding that sleeper coaches are also being added to many trains. The railways is also operate multiple special trains from the western and southern states to provide relief to the passengers of the northern and eastern states.
